Archiving Contacts

Archiving contacts is largely a matter of knowing where to go within your ClickFunnels account. Knowing how to archive contacts will be helpful if you need to remove any unwanted contacts from your funnel(s), dashboards, and contact list downloads.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

Important Note: Archived contacts will only become unarchived if the archived email address is used to opt-in through one of your funnels.

Option 1: Archive Contacts From The ClickFunnels Dashboard

1. Access your contacts from the ClickFunnels dashboard. There are three ways this can be done:

A. Individual contacts can be located from the search bar in the top left-hand corner.

Important Note:  Upon archiving a contact, the contact data, along with any associated data will be retained in the ClickFunnels database. Archiving the contact will remove it from any views, exports, and dashboards.

The contact will automatically be un-archived if the same email is used to opt-in through one of your funnels or pages even if the contact was previously archived. When you delete a contact via  GDPR Request, you remove that contact from your active outreach and remove that contact from the ClickFunnels platform.
