Restoring Deleted Funnel Steps

Learn how to restore a deleted funnel step in ClickFunnels Classic by accessing the archived funnel steps from your funnel's Settings page.

Funnel Steps that have been deleted from your funnel are not permanently gone forever in ClickFunnels Classic. These deleted/archived funnel steps can be restored from your funnel settings. However, in ClickFunnels 2.0, there is no recycle bin or undelete option. Recovery relies on reusing previously created templates. This will be helpful if you ever accidentally delete a funnel step or change your mind after deletion.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • For ClickFunnels Classic: A deleted/archived funnel step in a funnel

  • For ClickFunnels 2.0: Access to Workspace Settings and knowledge of previously created page templates

Step 1: Restore Deleted Funnel Steps

1. Hover over the ClickFunnels tab at the top of your dashboard and click Funnels from the drop-down menu.

How to Recover Deleted Funnel Steps or Pages in ClickFunnels 2.0

Steps to Restore Deleted Funnel Steps or Pages

  1. Access the Page Templates:

    • Navigate to Workspace SettingsPagesFunnel Pages.

    • Locate the page template that corresponds to the deleted funnel step. If needed, you can duplicate the template for reuse.

  2. Re-add the Template to the Funnel Step:

    • Go back to your funnel and edit the relevant step.

    • Select the template you found (or its duplicate) to add it back to the funnel step. This allows you to restore the content without recreating the page from scratch.

  3. Use the "My Funnel Pages" Section:

    • When creating a new page, check the "My Funnel Pages" section to find previously used page templates.

    • Select the desired template and add it to your funnel.

  4. Explore the "All Pages" Section:

    • If you cannot find the template in "My Funnel Pages," open the "All Pages" section to locate previously created templates.

    • Add the template back into the funnel as a new step or page.

Limitations to Keep in Mind

  • No Recycle Bin: ClickFunnels 2.0 does not offer a recycle bin or undelete option for recovering deleted pages or funnel steps. Recovery relies on reusing previously created templates.

  • Archiving vs. Deletion: Archiving applies to entire funnels, not individual steps or pages. Deleted steps/pages must be restored manually using the methods described above.
