Add Contacts to a Follow-Up Funnel Email List

Learn three ways to add contacts to a Follow Up Funnel email list in ClickFunnels Classic — via a page integration, a funnel automation, or a product follow-up action for buyers.

Prior to getting started, you will need the following:

Step 1: Add New Contacts to the List

There are three methods of adding contacts to your list.

Method #1: Add an Email Integration

  1. Select your funnel page/step where you are collecting the email address.

  2. Click on Edit Page.

  3. Hover your mouse over Settings.

  4. Click on Integrations.

  5. Select Clickfunnels Internal from the Integration drop-down.

  6. Select Add To List from the Action drop-down.

  7. Select your list from the List To Add drop-down.

Method #2: Create an Automation

  1. Select your funnel page/step where you are collecting the email address.

  2. Click on the Automation Tab.

  3. Click Add New Action.

  4. Enter the Name of your action.

  5. The Condition is set to Everyone by default.

  6. The Integration is ClickFunnels' internal by default.

  7. Select Add To List from the Action To Do drop-down.

  8. Select your static email list from the With drop-down.

  9. Click on Create Funnel Action.

Optional:

  • Click on Action Delay.

  • Enter the # of Days Before Action Happens. (Optional)

  • Enter the # of Hours Before Action Happens. (Optional)

Important Note: If you select a Smart List, the rules/conditions of the list will determine whether the contact is actually added to the list. (We do not recommend selecting a smart list here. It might be necessary to refresh your page in order to get a newly created automation.

Method #3: Create a Follow-Up Action (Add Buyers To An Email List)

  1. Visit the desired order form step where you wish to collect buyers.

  2. Click on the Product tab.

  3. Select a product and click on Edit.

  4. Click on Follow Up Actions.

  5. Enable Follow Up Actions by turning on the toggle to green.

  6. Choose ClickFunnels Internal.

  7. Select Add to list action and choose your list.

  8. Click Save and Close.
