Why is my WordPress API authorization not connecting?

Question: Why am I receiving a "Not Connected" message when performing a compatibility check while trying to enable API authorization with ClickFunnels?

Answer: Below are a few trouble shooting steps that you can take if you are receiving an API Authorization "Not Connected" alert:


  1. Cache and cookies need to be cleared for all time OR attempt to reconnect via an incognito window
  2. Ad blockers need to be disabled in WP
  3. If you have Minify enabled you will disable it for your Cloudflare domain.  Here is a guide on how to enable and disable: https://answeryourtech.com/how-to-enable-auto-minify-for-javascript-css-or-html-in-cloudflare/
  4. They are using a VPN when attempting to integrate WP (VPN might confuse the system and it might need to be turned off)
