Domain renewal up to 60 days prior to the annual renewal

In this document, you'll find insight regarding the Domain renewal upto 60 days prior to the annual renewal. For further information on questions or topics not listed here, please reach out to  support@clickfunnels.com  for further questions.

 Domain Renewals:

When a domain is purchased through ClickFunnels you are charged an annual fee of $20 per domain purchased. This fee is required to register the domain name for your use for a year. Each year the domain is active within your ClickFunnels account, a $20 fee will be charged automatically to the card on file to renew the ownership of the domain. Domain purchases and renewals are non-refundable.

Our Auto-Renewal option was set in place to protect your domain name from expiry. It reduces the risks of your domain name expiring by renewing it upto 60 days prior to its expiry date. We understand the implication of you loosing your business domain due to a failed payment at the very last minute and someone else acquiring the domain.

We start sending renewal notifications 60 days before your domain name is set to expire. If you do not wish to renew the domain, please log into your ClickFunnels account and turn off the auto-renew option and the domain name will expire automatically.

When auto-renewal is turned on within your ClickFunnels account, you will be charged for the domain name upto 60 days prior to the domain name's expiry date. Since we charge upto 60 days prior to renewal, turning on the auto renew option after the 45 days or a few days to renewal will not ensure the domain name is renewed. It most likely would have expired and you might loose your domain name.

Also turning off the auto-renew option a few days to renewal will not stop the charge from going through. There will be no refunds for domain renewals.

 Expected date of domain renewals:

ClickFunnels is required to charge the card on file upto 60 days prior to the actual renewal date of the domain. An email will be sent to the user 60 days prior to the renewal date, in which the user will have the option to turn off the renewal settings of the domain. Please follow the steps below to turn off auto-renew prior to the last 45 days of your auto-renewal.

How to toggle off the renewal setting for domains:

  • Find your domain within your account settings. Hover over your avatar in the top right corner of your ClickFunnels dashboard. Find "Account Settings". From there find "Domains".

  • You will then find the domain you wish to turn off the renewal setting and toggle it on or off.

By toggling off the domain, will prevent it from renewing.
