Adding Osano to ClickFunnels

In this article, we will cover adding Osano to your funnels. Osano is an easy-to-use data privacy platform used for Cookie Consent Management. Instantly make your website compliant with CCPA, GDPR, and monitor all of your vendor's​ privacy practices. Adding Osano to your pages will allow your page visitors to control the cookies they want to be tracked.

How To Add Osano to Your Funnel Pages:

The following steps will show the basic setup of the integration of Osano with ClickFunnels. If you have further questions about the setting up Osano and its features, please contact Osano's Support team from their help widget in the top right of their screen or consult their documents at https://docs.osano.com/   

Step 1: Creating your Cookie Configuration
1. Log in to your Osano account.

2. Click on Consent Management on the left menu. 

3. Click on the Plus Sign at the bottom right of the page. 

4. Add a name for the configuration.

5. Toggle the CCPA Opt-Out Mode to on (purple) 

6. Add your subdomain to the Domains field. For example, www.yourdomain.com. Do not add the https:// or pathnames.

Important Note: You can use the ClickFunnels subdomain assigned to your account if you have not assigned a domain to your funnel. If you change the domain in the future you will want to update this field. 

7. Add the complete URL of your policies page to the Data Storage Policy URL field.

8. Click on Create Configuration.

9. Click on Publish in the top right of the page. 

10. In the pop-up window, click on Keep and Publish.

11. You can click on the Styling tab and change the banner styling to your desired style.

Step 2: Adding the Code to ClickFunnels

1.  Click on Copy Code at the top right of the page. 

2. In ClickFunnels, Open the page editor for the funnel step you would like to add the code to. This would normally be the landing page or first page of your Funnel. 

3. Open the page Settings menu at the top left of the page. 

4. Click on Tracking Codes

5. Paste the code in the Header section

6. Exit the Tracking Code window and click on Save at the top right of the page. 

Step 3: Cookie Classification
The next step will require visitors to your page. You can test this yourself or you can have traffic visit your page. It is recommended to allow up 24 to 48 hours for Osano to identify all the cookies and scripts on the page.  For further information on cookie classification review this article: https://docs.osano.com/classification-categories 

1. Log in to your Osano account.

2. Click on Consent Management on the left menu. 

3. Click on the configuration that you added. 

4. Click on the Cookies tab.

5. Click on View Discovered Cookies.

6. For each discovered Cookie click on the classification button.

7. Set the category you desire.

9. Set the mode to your desired setting.

Important Note: I cookie icon will be displayed at the bottom right of your pages for visitors to manage their cookie settings.
