Select an existing account or click “Connect a new account” and click “Continue” - Next, you will configure how the order should be created in Shopify. This will be highly dependent on your specific setup. However, in general, we can say you will probably want to set things like.
- Contacts email.
- Product.
- Shipping address.
- Once that is done, click "Continue"
- On the final step, click “Test step”
- Review the order created in Shopify and adjust settings if needed & re-test until you get the desired outcome.
- Once you have verified things are working how you want, publish your Zap.
Advanced Setup
This goes over ways to build on the basic setup, allowing users to create more sophisticated setups for dealing with things like funnels selling multiple products.
Filters
You can use Zapier Filters to continue only if a specific product is purchased. For example, you could use this if an order form in ClickFunnels offered multiple products and only one of them requires fulfillment via Shopify
Written Walkthrough:
- Click the + sign to add a new step.
- In the modal, search for “filter” then select “Filter by Zapier”.
- Next, configure the filter. This will depend on the specifics of your setup, but will probably be something like: Continue if “product name” "matches" “A products name”.
- Once this is configured click “Continue”.
Paths
You can use Zapier Paths to continue in different ways depending on which product is purchased.
For example you could use this if a single order form has multiple products that would each need fulfillment. Allowing you to create Shopify orders with the correct product depending on which they purchase.
Written Walkthrough:
- Click the + sign to add a new step
- In the modal search for “paths” then select “Paths by Zapier”
- Next, configure the filters for each path. This will depend on the specifics of your setup, but will probably be something like. Setting up a path for each product, where the filter is: Continue if “product name” “matches” “A products name” with each path leading to a separate Shopify step similar to the one outlined in the basic setup portion of this article.
Example:
Path 1: Continue if “Product A” then create a Shopify order for Product A”
Path 2: Continue if “Product B” then create a Shopify order for Product B”
