Rule Group Glossary of Terms

Learn the rule group glossary terms in ClickFunnels. Using rule groups we can set specifics that contacts need to meet to be added to a Smart Email List, be eligible to receive an email in ClickFunnels. 

Prior to getting started, you will need the following: 

Social Rule Agents

Social Networks select social networks and filter contacts based on their activity inside the chosen social network

Is equal to evaluates the total number of followers a contact has on social networks. Selecting "is equal to" filters a certain number of followers/following the contact has compared to the number you choose. [ex. Facebook Followers = 1000, anyone who has 1000 Facebook Followers]

Contains the social network selection "contains" a number of followers/following a contact has

Is greater than the selected social network "is greater than" a number of followers/following [ex. Twitter > 1000, anyone who has more than 1000 twitter followers]

Is less than the selected social network selection is less than a number of followers/following [ex. Instagram < 1000, anyone who has less than 1000 Instagram followers]

Is blank the selected social network selection is blank for the contact

Contact Rule Agents

Action Score 4 values use an algorithm to determine the "Action Score"

Email email address

First Name contacts the first name

Middle Name contacts middle name

Last Name contacts last name

Full Name contacts full name

Address contacts street address

City contacts city location

State contacts US state location

Country contacts country of residence

Zip contacts zip code

 Shipping Address   >contacts shipping address street name and number

 Shipping City   >contacts shipping City

 Shipping State   contacts shipping State

 Shipping Country   contacts shipping Country

 Shipping Zip   contacts shipping Zipcode

 Websites   contacts websites

 Location General   contacts Location General based on IP Address

 Normalized Location 

 Deduced Location 

 Age   contacts Age

 Gender   contacts Gender

 Age Range Lower   contacts below a certain age range

 Age Range Upper   contacts above a certain age range

 Phone   contacts Phone number

 Has Tag   contacts who have a particular "tag" inside the system

 Last Engaged Days Ago   contacts who engaged with your content based on how long ago i.e. "last engaged 30 days ago"

Funnel Rule Agent

Visited Step contacts who visited a certain funnel step within your funnels

Never Visited Step (beta) contacts who never visited a certain funnel step within your funnels

Product Rule Agent

Bought Product contacts who purchased a certain product within your funnel

Never Bought Product (beta) contacts who never purchased a certain product within your funnel

Broadcasts Rule Agent

Opened Broadcast contacts who opened a certain broadcast email you have sent

Clicked Broadcast contacts who clicked on a link inside a certain broadcast you have sent

Never Opened Broadcast (beta) contacts who never opened a certain broadcast email you have sent

Never Clicked Broadcast (beta) contacts who never clicked on a link inside a certain broadcast you have sent

Lists Rule Agent

On Static List contacts who are on a certain Static Email list within your account

Not On Static List (beta) contacts who are not on a certain Static Email list within your account

Email Step Rule Agent

Opened Email Step contacts who opened a certain email step within an Action Funnel/Follow-Up Funnel

Never Opened Email Step (beta) contacts who never opened a certain email step within a Follow-Up Funnel

Never Clicked Email Step (beta) contacts who never clicked in a certain email step within a Follow-Up Funnel

Clicked Email Step contacts who clicked in a certain email step within an Action Funnel/Follow-Up Funnel

 

Note Negative Filter Rules Using this feature will allow you to incorporate negative rules into your Smart Email Lists, Follow Up Funnel Step Rules, and Broadcast Rules filters.
